Dr. Mileski obtained her optometry degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University, followed by her residency training in Neuro-Ophthalmic Disease from Salus University. Dr. Mileski stayed on at Salus University as an Instructor and taught optometry students in multiple courses including Neuro-Ophthalmic Disease, Neuro-Anatomy, Head & Neck Anatomy and Clinical Skills in addition to seeing patients in both the Primary Care and Neuro-Ophthalmic Disease clinics. Dr. Mileski relocated to the Atlanta area and joined the Emory Eye Center faculty in 2018. She worked on the hospital consultation service and saw a wide range of patients with a focus on ocular disease and neuro-ophthalmic disease. Dr. Mileski moved back to the Jacksonville area, which allows her to be closer to her family and transitioned into private practice where she continues to enhance her skills in the community setting. Dr. Mileski’s unique training allows her to provide specialty eye care services to patients with complex medical and neurologic issues in addition to routine eye care services. Dr. Milkeski is also an Assistant Professor of Optometry at University of Pikeville Kentucky College of Optometry where she is the course director for Neuro-Ophthalmic Disorders.
Dr. Mileski is an active member of the American Optometric Association and a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. Dr. Mileski serves as the program chair for the Neuro-Ophthalmic Disorders in Optometry Special Interest Group. Dr. Mileski continues to enjoy teaching optometry students and fellow optometrists. She is an avid lecturer at local and national meetings and she continues to teach students and residents at multiple optometry schools.
