This course is designed to provide a basic understanding of glaucoma and its impact on the eye. The course will cover basic terminology, testing procedures, the different aspects of the disease, and different operative procedures associated with the disease. We will also go over what a technician may encounter with screening a glaucoma patient.

Learn the different types of glaucoma and identify attributes of the types and stages of Glaucoma.
Learn how to identify the risk factors associated with Glaucoma including ethnicity, medications, and family history.
Identify testing and treatment procedures associated with Glaucoma through case history examples
